Thank You Kidspot Mums Say , Viva Kleenex Mums & Dial An Angel.

Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to win a competition via Kidspot Mum Say, Kleenex's Viva Mums &  DIAL AN ANGEL Home and Family Care for 12 x 3hr sessions of domestic cleaning. Today I've finally had a cleaner come in for the first time and the house has been  vacuumed, the bathrooms have been cleaned and the floors have been washed!

I won this competition by simply writing a review at Kidspot's Mums Say after being sent Viva products to trial.  We used the products around the house, I started writing a review which turned into a mammoth post  so I posted a basic review on the Mum Say trial group for this product and then wrote a full post about it on my blog which you can read A Modern Man & Family.  I was entered into the competition and it was as SIMPLE AS THAT! I suggest if you are not signed up there already you should defiantly do it now! I didn't really expect to win and was totally blown away when I did! I have never had a cleaner come into my home before so I wasn't too sure on what I should really ask them to do? I checked in with DIAL An ANGEL Home and Family Care and asked them what I should ask them to do? The lovely Carol who is looking after my file told me that they do everything BUT window cleaning and blinds so this defiantly gave me something to think about. With this information I made myself a bit of a list of the things I thought needed doing and booked in the cleaner to come to my home. Thank goodness they were so accommodating this week as I have decided to have a bit of a birthday bash and Christmas party and even though I would have got it all done I now can focus on getting other things done...like writing this blog post for a start!  A lovely local lady came to my home and has done all that I have asked of her, even with a little sidekick named Aston. The quality of her work is fantastic, she was very pleasant and a very hard worker.

Have you ever had a cleaner come in to your home? What did you get them to do and how frequently did you get them to come? Next time I plan to be more organised so I can actually get other things done while the cleaner is here. This time I felt kind of strange telling the lady what she had to do and actually did some cleaning/organising myself (post to come about that) Oh and I wanted to let you know I wasn't paid or given anything (apart from my prize I won fair and square) to write this post.
